"Sleep all day. Party all night. Never
grow old. Never die. It's fun to be a vampire.
Sam and his older brother Michael are all-American
teen with all-American interests. But after they move with
their mother to peaceful Santa Carla, California, things mysteriously
begin to change. Michael's not himself lately. And Mom's not
going to like what he's turning into.
The Lost Boys reshapes vampire tradition, deftly mixing heart-pounding
terror, rib-tickling laughs and a body-gyrating rock soundtrack."

Someone recommended this one to me a while
ago, and I'm glad they did! This nice 80's vampire flick is
a job well done for director Joel
Schumacher. The Lost Boys has a
lot going for it: Great acting, some funny moments and characters
(like Grandpa, Sam and the Frog brothers), a bit of gore and
a cool soundtrack. But is it scary? No it isn't, but few horror/comedies
are... There's also some nice camerawork in this.
The Lost Boys is just plain simple fun and entertainment.
If you haven't seen it yet, you should!
